A tenderloin sandwich is a local Hoosier delicacy, made from thinly-sliced pork loin and hammered thin and wide. Traditionally breaded and fried, it is then usually topped with pickles, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard on a bun (which might not even fit the pounded flat pork). If that sounds delicious, then you’re in luck, because we’re serving up the best local restaurants known for their tenderloins in Hancock County.

B&C Hideout, New Palestine

B&C Hideout offers Teller’s Tenderloin as one of their house specialties, cooked one of two ways. Choose from preparation in a seasoned iron skillet, or hand-dipped and fried in a beer batter… you can’t go wrong with either option!

Broadway Diner, Fortville

Founded in 2004, Broadway Diner is a family-owned and operated establishment. You’ll find homestyle southern-style comfort food with a delicious big city portion of tenderloin for a reasonable price.

Located in the heart of Hancock County, Sugar Creek Brickhouse offers family dining, a full bar as well as patio seating. Served on a corn-dusted bun, get their Brickhouse Tenderloin either grilled or breaded with the usual fixings… or add bacon, cheese or even a fried egg!
