Voted Best of Hancock County
#1 The Mug
At The Mug, voted the best burger in Hancock County, you’ll find fast-casual burgers (and more) made with ingredients from Central Indiana for a modern farm-to-curb concept. The Mug sources their local, top-quality, drug-free beef, from just down the road at Tyner Pond Farm. In addition to the typical hamburgers and cheeseburgers with all the fixings, here you can also find the one-of-a-kind Jalapeno Cream Cheese Bacon Burger, which includes deep-fried jalapeño poppers on a ¼ lb burger.
#2 Culver’s
Coming in at second place in the Best of Hancock County guide, Culver’s is home to the trademarked Butterburger®, which local residents enjoy served up alongside delicious frozen custard. In addition to its yummy menu, Culver’s in Greenfield is also well-known for its great customer service. As Missi R. shared on Yelp, “The employees at this location always go above and beyond to make sure each guest has a great experience. I’ve never had a meal here that was less than excellent, and always 100% correct.”
#3 The Depot
Originally used as a grain elevator, The Depot in downtown Greenfield is home to a number of unique burgers and was voted the third-place winner in Hancock County. Order a Smash Burger and you’ll find a menu full of add-ons like a fried egg, mac and cheese or even peanut butter! The Depot’s Signature Burgers are sure to get you messy, with one topped with pulled pork and chili, and another featuring nacho cheese and chili. And no matter your dietary restrictions, you can enjoy a burger at The Depot, by substituting with a gluten-free bun or black bean burger.
