One of the best parts about living in the city of Greenfield is the small-town feeling that you’ll find here, whether you’re a long-time resident or a first-time visitor. In Greenfield, you’ll always know that “we’ve got your back.” And right now, our community and Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce are recognizing local businesses and service providers with the We’ve Got Your Back campaign.

What is the We’ve Got Your Back campaign?

This campaign is a way to acknowledge the incredible support that our local businesses offer our community. Aside from providing the city of Greenfield with local goods and services, small businesses are often the primary source of revenue for most local nonprofits. According to the Greenfield Area Chamber, more than 90% of small business owners give back to their community through volunteering, in-kind contributions or direct cash donations. In fact, nonprofits sometimes receive as much as 350% more from local businesses as opposed to large or nonlocal corporations.

How can I support the campaign?

You can support the We’ve Got Your Back campaign by shopping local and looking for the #localfirst Greenfield logo at the stores and restaurants of participating merchants. You can also follow the Shop Local Greenfield Facebook page to learn more about our 2021 participants, sponsors and upcoming events. With all of the cultural, educational and charitable support that these businesses offer our community, we are proud to be able to give back and shop local.

Who is participating in the campaign this year?

As the Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce fulfills its mission to come together as small business owners, they have highlighted each of the We’ve Got Your Back participants for 2021 on the Local First Greenfield website. You can also view a full list below:
